12.30.07
My Christmas special has done so well that it
has almost beat Hat vs. Barnaby in views, despite
being released a month after it. Thanks for making
it so popular!
Also, I've made a new Oxhorn Brand Facebook page,
now that Facebook is not restricted to students.
I've made some new designs for my store! Here
are four new quotes from my movies:
I used to have iPod versions of all my movies,
but people didn't download them much so I stopped
making them. However, due to fan feedback, I've
brought back the iPod versions and made new ones
for my new movies. You can download my movies
for your iPod from the Movies page. Here they
are, listed below:
* The 12 Days of Winter's Veil iPod Version
* The Anti-Elf Anthem iPod Version
* The Joy of Punting Gnomes iPod Version
* The Peace Circle iPod Version
* Birth of the Forsaken iPod Version
* Inventing Swear Words iPod Version
* Oxhorn Tells Off Xfire iPod Version
* Red Snappah! iPod Version
* The Great Kodo iPod Version
* ROFLMAO! iPod Version
* Orcs in SPACE!
* Krick in the Back iPod Version
* Inventing Swear Words 3 Trailer iPod Version
* Inventing Swear Words 2 iPod Version
* Elf On iPod Version
* Drunken Kodo Riding iPod Version
* Courting a Celt iPod Version
* Associate Professor Evil Kills All Beggars iPod
Version
* Oxhorn's Christmas Special iPod Version
* Inventing Swear Words 3 iPod Version
* Hat vs. Barnaby iPod Version
* Hark! Hear the Wails iPod Version
* Racing the Grimtotem iPod Version
* The Tauren's Kilt iPod Version
This has been a good year for machinima! I've
made 12 movies this year (not counting a commissioned
piece which I haven't released to the public yet,
two movie trailers and a machinima acceptance
speech) which averages out to one movie every
month. I'd say that is a fair amount! This year
alone I've introduced a slew of new characters,
including Associate Professor Evil, The Master
of Euphemisms, two silly orcs floating in space,
good ol' Thunk and many more. Check out the Characters
page to see all my machinima characters. I hope
to make just as many movies for next year, and
maybe even more.
I'll be going to the Red Hot Bash in Seattle
for New Years Eve. If you are in the area, I hope
to see you there! Otherwise, have a happy New
Year, and I'll see you in 2008!
Here are this last week's blog highlights:
* Script: Oxhorn's Christmas Special
* New Movie: Oxhorn's Christmas Special
* Stats: 24 Hours After Release
* Bellies Filled with MEAT!

Merry
Christmas! If you missed it, I released my new
Christmas movie this weekend. Check it
out here:
Oxhorn's
Christmas Special
I have a long list
of bonus material for the movie:
I'll be updating
the shop with new items from both Hat
vs. Barnaby and Oxhorn's
Christmas Special soon. I'll also take this
time to do some much-needed tweaking to the site
so it looks better.
If you'll be in
Seattle tonight, head on over to Mars
Hill's Wedgwood campus for their Christmas
Eve service, where I will be singing in a quartet
at 5:30pm. Hope to see you there!
I'll add some video
bloopers from my latest movie here tomorrow. That's
it for today. Have a happy Christmas Eve!

After
a few hiccups yesterday, I am now able to re-present
Oxhorn's Christmas Special--now in working order.
"Oxhorn, Staghorn
and Mortuus are going to a Christmas party at
Shattrath, but the trip is taking too long. Staghorn
craves some pecan pie, and they concoct a devious
plan."
Check out the listing
on the Movies page to see a list of bonus
material, including a fine poster by Oushi, audio
and video bloopers.

My Christmas movie is almost done! Here are some
teaser screenshots.
Oushi, the winner of my movie poster
contest, has been helping me design images for
the movie and for its promotion, and I am really
excited with what he made. You can see a few of
his designs in Teaser
05. Also, if I get this done in time, Nathan
may be able to score it for me, so pray for me!
A musical score will make the movie much better.
I’m amazed with how much you
guys have been buying from my store this last
week. Thanks for the early Christmas present!
If you missed it, I opened up a section of Oxhorn
Brand Christmas Ornaments, and I organized
the top-selling products and designs. There is
still time to get items from my shop delivered
before Christmas! Order by the 18th with premium
shipping or by the 19th with express shipping.
These are the top-selling designs:
No new song
this week, for obvious reasons—I’ve
been so busy with this movie. My goal is to release
it on Thursday the 20th, leaving five days for
people to enjoy the movie before Christmas. Stop
by the forums
and encourage me! I still have a lot of work to
do.
See you Thursday,
Lord willing!

I’ve been
fiddling with the
store
a bit, and found out some useful information. If
you would like to get anything from the store in
time for Christmas, here are some important order
deadlines:

I’ve added
some new Christmas ornaments for those who would
like to decorate your tree in very Oxhorn-ish style!
The new ornaments can be found here:
I’ve
been trying to figure out the most popular items
from the store. By far, the most popular item is
the dark T-shirt, followed by the white T-shirt
and then, strangely enough, hooded sweatshirts.
Here are the five most popular designs:
So then, if you
haven’t any ideas what to get your family and
friends for Christmas, head on over to the shop
and check out what I’ve got!

I’m ankle
deep into the production of my new Christmas movie.
I really love the script and I think you all will
find it funny! But to be honest, it will be very
hard for me to finish it in time for Christmas.
I will have to spend every free moment I have on
this thing to get it done in time. I think I can
do it, if I am disciplined enough, but it will be
work. If you know of anyone who would like to sponsor
this movie, I have ten seconds during the credits
that I can sell, so let me know.
I’ve finished the first
scene, and here are some teaser screenshots:
I’ve
recorded a new
tin whistle solo and uploaded it to my MP3 player
below. If any of you have played Final Fantasy
IX, you should recognize it. It is called The
Place I’ll Return to Someday, by
Nobuo Uematsu. I’ll try to have some new tin
whistle solos on a regular basis.
That’s
everything for now! A nice short update this week.
Have a good Monday, and here are last week’s
blog highlights:

The results are
in for my
Movie Poster
Contest, and I must say, it was hard for me
to judge a winner. There were 23 submissions, and
I picked the winner based on its creativity and
its adherence to the rules. Because there were so
many great submissions, I’ve decided to have
3 runner-ups, and the runner-ups will get their
posters printed as large as possible and sent to
them (I ignored the rules for the runner-ups).
Thanks to everyone who submitted
a poster, and I wish I could have given prizes to
even more. All posters are now listed on the Movies
page under “Extras” beneath the poster’s
movie.
So then! The runner-ups are:

"Bloit
with the Flak"
by
Aesybell |

"Every
Quest Has a Beginning"
by
Fabka |

"Hat
vs. Barnaby"
by
Oushi |
And the winning
poster is:

"Racing
the Grimtotem"
by Oushi
Congratulations
all! This was a fun contest, and thanks so much
to everyone who participated. I am humbled to find
that so many talented people are fans of my movies!
I have uploaded
a few more MP3s to the MP3 player. Also, I've gone
through the Movies page
and added links to the MP3s listed as extras.
New MP3s:
I also just realized that
I didn’t have a working link up for one of
my newer short stories, The Judgment of Gritty
Sax. The link now works:
I'm looking to host some
new contests on a regular basis, so if you have
any ides for contests, head on over to the forums
and drop me a line.
That's it for this week!
Congratz again to the winners, and I'll see you
next Monday.
