So I've been getting message after message from
fans wanting "Inventing Swear Words 4".
Everyone wants to see Lacy and Mort's wedding.
I am stoked at everyone's enthusiasm! I have been
unable to avoid thinking about the next movie,
and I actually have some really cool ideas. The
big question is whether I'll make another "ISW"
movie or a random "Short SHORT!", which
I have been wanting to do for a while. We will
see, we will see.
Kill5675 from YouTube was watching GameSpot.uk's
tour of Blizzcon, and he happened to spot me in
their video. I was chatting with Jun from Stone
Falcon Productions near the machinima booth
right before I was supposed to man it. It has
a good shot of the machinima booth at around 7:40,
so check
it out here.
I was asked to create short, less than one minute
trailers for my two nominated movies for the Machinima
Festival Europe 07. I finished them yesterday
and had a bit of fun making them, so I thought
I would share them with you all:
* 4
Commercials for mtvU Trailer (original
movie here)
* Hark!
Hear the Wails Trailer (original
movie here)
I've been getting a lot of requests for new shirts
for the store,
and I have been more than happy to accommodate.
I've added sweatshirts and hooded sweatshirts
to all of Craig's designs, and I will add them
to all of the text designs soon. I've also added
one new text design at a fan's request: "I'm
Uber Uber L33t". If you have any requests
for shirts with lines from my movies on them,
let me know and I'll make some.
Also, if you are an artist and want to design
a shirt based on my movies, feel free to send
me your idea and a sample image. If I like it,
I'll put it in the store, and I'll send you any
shirt of your choice for free.
I've been working a lot and dealing with mundane
things like living, which hasn't given me any
time to make new movies. I hope to have a new
story completed for next week, and also to have
the Writings section done. I may start working
on a new movie here soon, but if I do, I'll probably
keep the details under my hat for a while, until
I have some teaser screenshots to release.
See you next Monday!

Whew, what a week!
I have some exciting news! Two of my movies,
Hark!
Hear the Wails and 4
Commercials for mtvU have been nominated for
a Machinima Festival Europe 07 Award. Hark! Hear
the Wails was nominated for Best Sound and 4 Commercials
for mtvU was nominated for Best Commercial/Game.
The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday,
October 13th, in Leicester, England. I'm hoping
to get some sponsorship so that I can attend.
You can read the complete list of nominees on
the Festival homepage, here.
I’ve been quite busy, what with the release
of Inventing
Swear Words 3 and all. If you missed
it's release last Monday, you can find my new
movie under the Movies tab above, in the Inventing
Swear Words section. Here are the viewer statistics
for the first week after its release:
* YouTube: 32,200
* Myndflame: 22,010
* WCM: 18,560
* MySpace: 7,660
* FileFront: 1,290
* Machinima.com: 800
* Stage6: 730
* Google Video: 200
* Total: 83,450
I hope you like the new website! The Movies and
Characters sections are complete. My web designer
and I are working on the Games, About Me and Writings
sections, and we should have them done soon. I've
also released a brand new store, which you can
find by clicking on the store banner to the left,
or the "store" tab above. In response
to fan suggestions, I've added buttons and magnets
for a number of my designs, and I've added a new
design: "I
am Warlord Gorechuck! I am MASTERFUL!".
I also added a new "BARNABY!"
design, with Associate Professor Evil on the back
of some of the shirts.
Other than that, I've fixed a number of typos
all over the site. If you find any others, please
let me know via the forums.
That's the end of today's update! Here are last
week's blog highlights:

At long last, I have finished Inventing Swear
Words 3! Choose one of the links below to watch
the movie—Stage6 is the best quality.
Inventing Swear Words 3!
I said in my trailer that I would finish it sometime
this summer, and since summer officially ends
September 23rd, I feel comfortable saying that
I’ve met my goal. If you haven’t seen
Inventing Swear Words 1, 2 or the trailer for
3 (which doesn’t have anything to do with
3), then click on the “Movies” link
above and check them out before watching Inventing
Swear Words 3.
I am pleased with how this movie turned out.
I literally spent every waking moment when I was
not at work on this thing. You know you are spending
too much time locked up in your apartment when
you look in the mirror one day and are startled
at how long your beard has grown. For a while
there I was marking time by how long my fingernails
had grown. I’m pleased with this movie,
but I am also very glad to be joining the real
world again and attaining some semblance of normalcy.
I have to give major thanks to Nathan
Allen Pinard, who is a true hero of this project.
I asked him to complete the sound track in four
days, and he did it—and it turned out perfect!
He really came through, which is why I was able
to release this movie today. So stop on over at
Nathan’s site and thank him for working
on Inventing Swear Words 3.
As you can see, the website has changed quite
a bit! Scott Repka contacted me a few weeks ago
and offered to redesign my website, and I must
say, it is very handsome--much better than my
old Homestead one. The “Writings”
section will be updated here in a few days, but
in the meantime, check out the new “Movies”
page, and the adjacent “Characters”
page, where you can find out more about the characters
from my videos.
I have updated my store
with lots of cool new items! Craig Lynn offered
to design some images for me, and with these I
was able to flesh the store out with new shirts
for men, women and children, including black and
dark colored shirts, as well as other odds and
ends like mugs, steins, mouse pads, pillows, aprons,
magnets, posters, coasters and more. So check
out the new store, and see if anything catches
your eye!
Well, with that, I think I am going to take a
long overdue break. Maybe I’ll go hiking
this weekend. Or maybe I’ll just sleep.
I have a few days to decide.
