Happy Monday! Nathan and I are a bit delayed in finishing the song for my new music video because we want the song to be as good as possible. I’ve listened to Nathan’s drafts of the orchestrated parts and I am really excited! I’ll be sitting down tonight and recording the polished version of the vocals. We should get the song all finished by the end of the week or earlier, and then I’ll be able to start on the video.
I’ve finished all the voice acting and audio editing for another new movie, and last week I started the video editing. It will be about fifteen minutes long in all, which seems to be the norm nowadays for my movies. I don’t have any screenshots because I was really distracted last week, but I am sure I will have some next week.
Egad Pit and HeavyB, however, have been really busy producing machinima, and have made a new movie for the game Portal. If you want to see two military-issue turrets singing a folk song about how they got into the Aperture, well, follow this link:
Portal is such a fun game. And here is last week’s Weekly Video Review. Jeff got me good, but I got him back at the end, hehe.

Good
morning! Things have been busy over
at WeGame. We hired a few new people
and I have been having fun tinkering
with new toys in After Effects. Put
a cool new frame in the video review.
Nathan is working
on the song for my next music video,
and once he finishes it I will be
able to pump it out. In the meantime,
I have written two new scripts.
I have no shortage of ideas, just
time with which to make them! I’ll
try to get a new movie done soon.
In the meantime, Egad
Pit and Heavy B have given us a
new video, this time using Team
Fortress 2 set to a scene from Monty
Python’s The Meaning of
Life.
And there are a few
days left in that Everquest 2 contest.
If you don’t play the game,
you can download a free 14 day trial
from the Everquest website and make
a quick video.
That’s it for
now! Here is last week’s video
review:

03.17.08
I’ve started a
new music video. It is a new song
of my own composition, and Nathan
is composing all the orchestration.
It may be a few weeks before I finish
it. At the same time, I am working
on a new story-based movie. I’ll
try to have screenshots of either
(or both) next week.
There is a new movie
up over at WeGame that I thought was
very funny, and it is sure to be a
hit with anyone remotely familiar
with Army of Darkness and Shaun of
the Dead. Made by some guys named
Egad Pit and Heavy B. Check it out
here:
There is a new contest
over at WeGame for Everquest II players.
It is a contest to make a movie about
the game’s “Brew Day”
Festival. I’ll be judging, so
if you play the game, start sending
your submissions! There are many great
prizes from Ideazon.
That’s it for
today! Check out last week’s
video review and blog highlights:

I’ve
released Orcs in SPACE! 2,
and you can watch it here:
If you
like it, do me a favor and “digg
it” for me by following this link
and clicking the button that says “digg
it”:
I also released a short
trailer, in which I get some “payback”
on those who didn’t like OIS1,
hehe:
And here are some extra
goodies from the movie:
I also reached a few milestones
on YouTube. Sometime this week, I surpassed
the ten-million views mark and the fifteen-thousand
subscriber mark. Huzzah!
The layout has changed
a bit over at WeGame, delivering popular
and relevant videos easier to the browser.
Also, you can now leave comments on
my channel “wall”, so stop
on by and say hi!
Many of you may not know
this, but before World of Warcraft,
I used to play a game called Dark
Age of Camelot. I did not know
how to edit video back then, but I did
come out with a few little flash videos
for my guild and for fun, long before
I ever knew the term “machinima”.
These go back to 2002-2003. Someone
who knew me back then (when I went by
Staghorn instead of Oxhorn) stopped
by the forums last week and asked to
see my old videos. I had forgotten about
them, but I managed to find them on
my old guild site, which is still up.
If you’re curious, you can watch
these ancient little movies of mine
here:
Maybe I can convince my
super-awesome-and-totally-anonymous
web designer to put them on my Movies page somewhere :P
I hope you like Orcs
in SPACE! 2! Here is last week’s
Weekly Video Review:

03.03.08
As promised,
here are some new screenshots from Orcs
in SPACE! 2. I have most of it done,
but I am not sure when I will be able
to finish it because I have lots of new
work at WeGame. I’ll shoot for next
Monday, but we will see.
I had a lot of fun editing
last week’s weekly video review.
Gorndt finally got me back for all the
gags I played on him, hehe. You can
watch it here:
And we had another video
make it to the front page of Digg, called
“How
Not to Be Seen”, which is
a Monty Python sketch set to World of
Warcraft. Made by some guy named Heavy
B.
That’s it for now!
Stop by the forums and say hi.
